Riya Foundation, a Public Charitable Trust in Mangaluru, empowers persons with intellectual disabilities by providing a nurturing, integrated environment. We offer comprehensive care, nutritious food, health support, and skills training, focusing on those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Our mission is to foster independence and enable individuals to showcase their talents.

Riya Foundation's journey began with a vision nurtured by Mrs. Keerthana P. Kumar, inspired by the heart and spirit of Bhavana, her sister with Down Syndrome.
When Mrs. Keerthana's second child, Riya, was diagnosed with autism, she recognized Riya's unique potential and embraced it fully.
In 2010, Mrs. Keerthana and Mr. Ashley Fernandes founded Riya Foundation in Mangaluru, transforming a rented space into the thriving Riya Hope Farm.
Riya became the first resident of Riya Hope Farm, where she continues to thrive and inspire.
At Riya Hope Farm, every child with intellectual disabilities receives the same dedicated care as Mrs. Keerthana's daughter, Riya.
Since 2010, Riya Foundation has grown from supporting 2 residents to a full capacity, transforming hundreds of lives with intellectual disabilities.
When we established Riya Foundation, our goal was to ignite hope and offer a nurturing haven for individuals with intellectual disabilities. From overcoming early challenges with a focus on quality, collaboration, and transparency, we have passionately transformed over 200 lives. Our dedicated staff and supporters have been instrumental in sustaining this vision, and I am deeply grateful for their unwavering support. With heartfelt care and love, we remain committed to bringing joy and compassion to those who need it most.

Riya Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing lifelong care and nurturing the inherent strengths and potential of individuals facing intellectual disabilities, including Autism, Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, ADHD, or Multiple Disabilities. Riya Foundation is registered as a Public Charitable Trust at Mangaluru, Karnataka State, India under The Indian Trusts Act, 1882 vide Registration Number 155/2009-10 IV on 26-Feb-2010.
